seaside comfort
clean hotel tasteful decoration beautiful sea view
the hotel provided a very clean and tastefully decorated space. i found comfortable lounges there, accompanied by a reasonably priced bar, perfect for relaxation. my room offered a beautiful sea view, very super clean and cozy. the staff were friendly and obliging.
i noticed poor wifi coverage. It was a significant inconvenience for staying connected. i hope the hotel will improve the wifi signal, as it's an important aspect for many guests. otherwise, my stay was very pleasing.

The room offered a serene escape, with two plush armchairs near the window. This created a wonderful spot for reading and quiet reflection. the spacious layout allowed easy movement and unpacking, aided by ample closet space. fresh linens and daily housekeeping ensured a consistently pristine environment.

Situated directly opposite the seafront, the hotel provides immediate access to leisurely strolls along the coast. It allowed a gentle experience. nearby, there were various shops and local eateries, easily accessible within a short, romantic walk. the theatres were also just around the corner.

The staff demonstrated friendliness and professionalism in all interactions. I appreciated the attention. the breakfast service was prompt and well-organized, this assured a smooth start each morning. requests were handled efficiently and effectively.

landsdowne house! smashing stay!
easy parking fine seaview easy beach access bonus lift
the location is superb. it made getting to the beach so quick! the lift was a real bonus. lots of older buildings don't have them, and this meant my mum could join me. i had a fine seaview and parking was genuinely easy. the room coffee machine was a lovely touch!
the shower's water pressure wasn't fantastic! occasionally, the flow sort of just stopped.

the breakfast staff seemed really enthusiastic. i saw them helping with directions and recommending local attractions, this created a very friendly vibe. the front desk staff was also quick with check-in.

this spot is right by the beach, this allows for quick trips down for a walk or a swim. it is also a short walk to local shops, offering both convenience and leisure. the ease of access really enhanced my visit

warm welcome dog bowl welcome letter window stains lack of sea view disappointing view
i was greeted with a warm welcome , especially for my dog. the staff just couldn't do enough , which i really appreciated. a lovely touch was the welcome letter and the provided dog bowl.
i was hugely disappointed by my sea view , or lack of. yes , there was a sea view , but i could not see it from the window due to stains. i was unable to remove them. the only reason i booked this hotel was because of the stated sea view.

temperature control impossible control
the breakfast selection was ok, nothing special but acceptable.
The bathroom was a letdown. The shower curtain felt outdated, and controlling the water temperature was nearly impossible, switching between freezing and scalding hot with little warning!!! it was frustrating.

friendly staff good breakfast plentiful choice dated room tired decor uncomfortable bed
the staff seemed friendly. i saw them checking to see if anyone wanted anything. the breakfast was good. it had a lot of choice.
the room was dated. the decor needs a refresh. i saw the carpet and it clearly needed replacing. the beds were the worst part and so uncomfortable.
